Lunar Eclipse Light Letter

Embracing the Unknown

Dear Cosmic Souls,

I write to you on the night of the Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse ~ a unique celestial event that has brought humanity intrigue and insight for all time. Eclipses can be unsettling and are an invitation to relax into the unknown as cosmic forces stir up energies within and without, revealing what has been hidden, ignored and forgotten.

Eclipses bring change, sudden events and insights into areas of our lives we may not want to look at… the energy can feel unsettling as shadows are illuminated, and plans and paths shift in light of new information.

This year’s eclipse season is even more potent as it coincides with retrograde Venus (March 2- April 14), and Mercury (March 14- April 7) both in Pisces, the sign of transcendence and endings. Venus R brings focus to our relationships and finances. People from our past may resurface to tie up loose ends and seek closure; therefore, it is an ideal time to reflect on our relationship patterns and journal about what kind of relationships we desire to cocreate in life. Whether we are in an intimate partnership or not, the kind of relationship we have with ourselves and Source is paramount to how we relate to anyone else, making this an ideal time to reflect and reconsider what relating means to us. (more on Venus in Pisces below)

Mercury R highlights communication, intellect and organization. Therefore, do not be surprised if you find yourself channeling some of this restless eclipse season energy into reorganizing your life.

With relationships and communication emphasized during the Venus and Mercury retrogrades in Pisces, you may also find yourself having some pretty deep and meaningful conversations. Pisces seeks to transcend all boundaries and desires intimate connection with others, making this a particularly potent time for relationships. Things may surface for discussion that surprise you, but if you speak clearly and listen intently, without judgment and criticism, you may find new perspective and insight that helps you grow.

During the Lunar eclipse the Moon is in the final degrees of Leo and is veiled by Ketu, dissolving illusion, releasing attachments and seeking ways to let go and surrender that which no longer serves you. It is an opportune time to set the intention to release any habits, break patterns and generally free yourself from anything you feel is dragging you down. The energy supports this shift if you are ready and sincere.

March through mid April marks a pivotal time in this most pivotal year. March is a turning point, a time of disruption and transformation that leaves us all feeling a little uncertain. A partial Solar eclipse closes the month of March as Saturn also moves into Pisces after 2.5 yrs in Aquarius. Anytime one of the giants move signs, it is felt by all.. and Saturn’s influence is heavy but how, it is felt for each of us, depends on your chart.

Two eclipses, two retrogrades and six planets plus Rahu in Pisces by the end of March is bound to bring some significant and inevitable change. Saturn’s heaviness in watery Pisces is going to feel destabilizing and restrictive at first, but ultimately brings liberation and much needed change for the collective, as well as the individual. It is indeed the dawning of a new era about which I have written more on my website and will continue to share in time.

March and April is a time to keep things simple. Plan and prepare as needed for life’s necessary events, but do avoid making big decisions if possible until later in the year. Once the energies settle into place and a few planets move on from Pisces later in April, clarity will surface.

After a time of great intensity, the second half of this year promises greater ease. Though at the moment it feels unfamiliar and uncomfortable, the process offers us a great reset for evolving beyondself-imposed limitations. It is a time of tremendous growth - traditionally a time to cocoon, meditate, journal, rest as much as you can, reflect and contemplate. Trust that clarity will come in this powerful and natural cycle of change.

Though right now, going with the flow may feel more like going with the rapids, the invitation is to surrender to your higher Self and release the lower mind’s desire to cling to the familiar and comfortable. A great new chapter is unfolding and by end of April / May, we will begin to see more clearly the path we are on.

In India, this year’s Full Moon Eclipse aligns with the celebration of Holi, marking the New Year, the start of Spring and the triumph of good over evil. rebirth, renewal and the return of the light! Auspicious timing that further signifies the importance of these profound times of change.

I have so much more I could share with you, but for now will wish you a blessed Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse. I pray that you may find some time to go within and meditate tonight or in the coming weekend, that you may find the time to create sacred space with yourself and your Soul, to connect with your light and Divine guidance within. Infinite blessings

In gratitude & love,
